Over the past several months, I have watched this blog grow. As I measured how tall it grew from infancy to puberty, like a parent would make etchings on a wall, I see we have matured into a solid identity, because of dedicated readers like yourselves. Thank you! We couldn’t have done it without you!
As we matured, I feel our mission has evolved our focus on the local arts community. When I was student teaching, my professor told us we should go home and give back to our communities. I see how his advice applies to supporting the local arts. Our mission is essential in creating a space for writers and artists to share their work, where none may exist. Although we are based out of a small area of Scranton, Pennsylvania, I hope to extend our voices’ reach beyond. I hope you will join us on our journey of self-discovery and the occasional ennui, as some of us experience in our thirties.
