This week’s vibrant featured artist is Mike Reznick, who describes himself and his work in his artist statement:
“The way I found art was due to my dyslexia, as images helped me learn. My art is created through things that either happen to me or that I have found interesting in life. I prefer freestyle mixed media painting with basically anything that will make a visual mark on whatever object or canvas I am working on. My go to supplies are usually acrylic paints, airbrushing, paint markers, and speedball ink. “When in doubt drip it out” has always been my motto throughout my self taught career in art. A lot of graffiti/tattoo artists have truly helped me hone my skills in along this artistic journey.”
Reznick is hosting and presenting his works in the upcoming collaborative art exhibit, “The Broken Heart Art Show,” this Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at “The 570 Gallery,” located at 59 N. Main St. Wilkes Barre, PA 18701.
